Zero-Tolerance for Threats, Harassment, or Dangerous Conduct

⚠️ IMMEDIATE SERVICE TERMINATION POLICY

If our cleaning professional feels threatened, intimidated, harassed, or unsafe for ANY reason during your service:

  1. ✅ Service stops IMMEDIATELY - employee leaves the premises
  2. 💰 FULL PAYMENT DUE - complete contracted amount, regardless of early termination
  3. 🚗 TRAVEL TIME COMPENSATED - you pay for travel time + on-site time + materials
  4. ❌ NO REFUNDS - no discounts, credits, or refunds of any kind
  5. 🚫 FUTURE SERVICE REFUSED - we may permanently decline to serve you
  6. 👮 AUTHORITIES NOTIFIED - incidents may be reported to law enforcement

Our Commitment to Employee Safety

At Just in Time Cleaning, our employees are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and dignified work environment. We maintain a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY for any behavior that threatens, intimidates, or endangers our cleaning professionals.

🛡️ Our Promise to Our Team

We support our employees' right to remove themselves from any situation they deem unsafe. Their safety judgment is made in good faith and we stand behind their decisions 100%. No employee should ever feel threatened, intimidated, or unsafe while performing their duties.

Prohibited Conduct - Zero Tolerance

The following behaviors are STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in IMMEDIATE SERVICE TERMINATION:

These Behaviors Will NOT Be Tolerated:

  • Threatening behavior (verbal, physical, or implied)
  • Harassment of any kind (sexual, verbal, physical, or psychological)
  • Intimidation or aggressive behavior
  • Discriminatory remarks based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic
  • Physical assault or attempted assault
  • Sexual advances, inappropriate touching, or sexual harassment
  • Possession of weapons on premises during service
  • Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs during service hours
  • Locked doors or trapped exits that prevent employee egress
  • Dangerous pets not properly secured (see Pet Policy below)
  • Unsafe working conditions (exposed wiring, structural hazards, biohazards)
  • Refusal to allow employee to leave the premises
  • Any other conduct that a reasonable person would consider threatening or dangerous

What Happens If Safety Is Compromised?

Step 1: Immediate Service Stop

The moment our employee feels unsafe, they will:

Per our Terms of Service (Section 6.3), the Client agrees to pay:

We document all safety incidents:

For serious incidents (assault, threats, illegal conduct):

Pet Safety Requirements

Pets must be properly secured during all cleaning services. This is for the safety of our employees and your pets.

🐕 Pet Securing Requirements:

  • Dogs: Must be crated, kenneled, or in a secured room
  • Cats: Must be in a secured area or outdoor enclosure
  • Other animals: Must be in appropriate containment

Pet Incidents

If a pet threatens, bites, or endangers our employee:

Client Responsibilities for Safety

Clients play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment. By booking our services, you agree to:

Incident Reporting Process

For Employees:

  1. Remove yourself from the unsafe situation immediately
  2. Contact supervisor to report the incident
  3. File detailed written incident report within 24 hours
  4. Provide any evidence (photos, videos, witness contacts)
  5. Cooperate with investigation and any legal proceedings

For Clients:

If service is terminated due to safety concerns, you will receive:

Good Faith Determination

Our employees are trained to assess safety situations and make good faith determinations. We support their judgment and will not second-guess decisions made to protect their safety.

Important:

The employee's determination that they feel threatened or unsafe is made in good faith. Client agrees NOT to dispute charges arising from legitimate safety concerns. We reserve the right to make the final determination on all safety-related matters.

Legal Consequences

Clients who engage in threatening or dangerous behavior may face:
